Dr. Lukas employee for over 20 years. She started out at the practice as a volunteer and was quickly hired as a junior technician. After attending veterinary school at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, she became an Associate Veterinarian at CompleteCare and has been working as a General Practitioner at the practice ever since. She is happily married for over 16 years, she has two children, two dogs, and two cats.
Samuel is a proud alumni of Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine class of 2015. His passion for pets started as a young boy who adopted a dog from the shelter here on Staten Island and ever since then he has always had a dog. Currently, he has a Boston terrier and a German Shepard, whom are both 13 years old. His journey to becoming a veterinarian started 15 years ago right here at CompleteCare as a veterinary technician. Since then, he has worked at local shelters, private practices and at emergency veterinarian hospitals. It feels great to return back to Staten Island and CompleteCare Veterinary Center and he looks forward to providing medical care for your wonderful pets!
Dr. Morello graduated vet school from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She has been with CompleteCare since starting as a shadow to the doctors and progressed to an assistant before returning as an associate veterinarian. She is passionate about behavior medicine and dentistry, but loves seeing the wide variety of cases we have. She has an orange tabby cat, Brie, she adopted in vet school and a leopard gecko, Captain Jack, she has had since high school. Her hobbies include reading, keeping house plants, exploring local restaurants, and knitting. She loves meeting new breeds and was involved with a retired racing greyhound program while in vet school.
Growing up around a variety of animals, I have always had a knack in regard to communicating and handling them. I knew from a young age that I would dedicate my life to them in some capacity. Finding out about grooming through my first job at a pet store, I was positive it was my calling.
I am very passionate about my career and treat every dog as if it were my own. As a Dog Mom to 3 Mini Long Haired Dachshunds and 4 mix breeds growing up, I am no stranger to the strong bond between you and your pet. I prioritize building that same bond with each of my Canine clients!
With 26 years of experience, starting with a certification in Pet Grooming, I am also a Certified Canine Esthetician. I am Fear Free Groomer Certified, holding certifications in Animal CPR/First Aid, Reiki/Sound/Energy Healing, and currently studying Animal Naturopathy. Twice yearly I attend Grooming Expos, Tradeshows and seminars updating my knowledge, skills and equipment. In addition, I have mastered the patience in handling difficult/nervous dogs with soothing energy to bring serenity to the overall grooming experience.
I strive to be well rounded in this field to offer each dog the most thorough and personalized care.
