Dr. Lisa Lukas is a proud alumni of Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2001. Dr. Lukas brings over 30 years of experience having worked at CompleteCare while in college and after graduating from veterinary school. Dr. Lukas has deep connections to Staten Island, having grown up on Staten Island, graduated from the College of Staten Island and worked at the Staten Island Children’s Zoo. She is the proud mom of two spoiled dogs, Biscuit and Zeke, and two snuggly cats, Benjamin and Zachary. In her free time, Dr. Lukas enjoys gardening, traveling, cooking, reading and is an avid postage stamp collector.
Dr. Samuel Rodriguez is a proud alumni of Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2015. His passion for animals started as a young boy when he adopted a dog from the shelter here on Staten Island. He has had a dog ever since and he currently has a dog named Choco, two cats named Gracie and Meow Meow and a flock of chickens. Dr. Rodriguez’s journey to become a veterinarian started 16 tears ago right here at CompleteCare as a veterinary technician. Since then, he has worked at local shelters, private practices and at emergency veterinary hospitals.
Dr. John Sangiorgio is a proud alumni of the University of Villanova undergrad and the University of Milan Veterinary Medicine. Shortly after graduating, he opened his own emergency clinic on Staten Island, working overnight for many years. Dr. Sangiorgio has received many awards throughout his distinguished career, including the Merit Award, Outstanding Service to Veterinary Medicine, and Veterinarian of the Year. He has worked on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, Newsroom, and A Dog’s Journey to monitor the safety of the animals on set. He had his own radio show and his hobby is acting.
